Although Greg had been posting his clues, responses were few. I guess they were either too hard or nobody is playing (for me they were too hard).
By the looks of it, Werewolf2 (whoever that used to be) should have taken back over today as Greg went 3 days unsolved.
Anyway, unless somebody has a better idea, I am going to get CCC back on track by posting a nice easy one at 9am tomorrow. The winner of which will be up on Tuesday (as it's bank holiday Monday).
If nobody solves tomorrows (and it will be super easy!), then we can assume nobody is playing anymore and we can put it on hold for a while.
Alternatively, if y'all have a better plan, then feel free to put me in my place

I thought my last one wasn't too bad. It was just going to be a straight double definition, in which case it would've probably been solved within minutes, with the help of a dictionary if need be.
I did mention Werewolf2 being up today along with yesterday's answer, but he hasn't posted since his last CCC 6 days ago.

As an outside observer, I detect a clear conspiracy. What?
Well I've seen a rumbling, now and then (see a rumbling because posts must be read) about how C has outlived its usefulness. That's the beginning of the tale. And some even tout that for C++.
Now, of course, you see it. Take 'C'; add a couple more C's (as in ++) and you have your CCC. There is clearly a movement afoot to usurp the position.
It may be, if you post something like PythonPythonPython it will receive better attention.
The only other logical alternative is something like CCC[^].
All that being said, as an outside observer I can only hypothesize. I don't even know how it's done/played/used. Also, by the time I get up in this beloved time zone, someone seems to have done with it whatever is supposed to be done.

Perhaps because Windows Forms Designer for .NET Core Released | .NET Blog[^]?
It should be included in VS2019 v16.6.
2.31 GB is still a lot though.
Bigger than any WinForms project I could make, that's for sure

Just updated mine and it's "only" 1.48 GB for me, going from 16.5.5 to 16.6.

Nope, my only problem with 16.5.5 was that when I went to "View -> Other windows" (from the menu at the top) it would crash Visual Studio 
It's not something I use a lot, but it happens.
In fact, it happened to me earlier this week, that's why I updated to 16.6 asap.
The problem seems to be fixed now.

Yeah, me too.
I still have one customer who has a WinForms application.
I didn't make it, but I'm maintaining it.
Just last week I wrote a Console app, it just need to check for some files to mail every few minutes and it HAD to run on a local Exchange server.
Other than that it's all web nowadays.
Although I did speak to a potential customer earlier this year who needed software to interface with (label)printers, scanners and possibly other hardware.
A web app isn't going to do that, so it's either WinForms or an alternative.
I don't really see the added value of WPF except that it can do some nice graphical stuff that I don't need, Java is out of the question, and I'm not sure if an alternative like Electron has the same maturity as WinForms.
The guy put everything on hold because of COVID-19, but if he ever decided to continue that project and I get to be the one that writes it, I may go for WinForms.

Not everyone has a fast broadband, I am lucky enough to have 100Mbps download but I imagine most of the world has a much much slower download speed.
