Interfacing DS1307 RTC Module With Arduino[^] contains a lot of links to a commercial electronics site. It could be totally innocent, or it could actually be active spamming. I still could not decide between both alternatives, but the fact that the user just registered today would make me lean towards the latter explanation.
Your thoughts?

You're right. I didn't catch that it was specific to the hardware available at the linked site. As such, it belongs on their website, so I've removed my approval for now.
However, the same rationale could be used to reject articles that use any commercial framework, even those which are popular. It would then be a question of trying to determine if an author is at arm's length from the commercial product being discussed. What a rabbit hole. @chris-maunder

The problem is not about using a commercial product/part/framework... It is about to link to site that sells it...
If you are writing about an idea and do the coding part using some commercial framework, there is nothing wrong with that... Those are reading the article may decide to buy it or implement your idea using an other framework (commercial or not)...
The problem starts when your article contains links to such selling site...

No...
A CP-Editor did her job, correcting the format issues that the article in moderation had. And once a CP Editor is done with the work, it gets approved automatically.
It doesn't mean it is not spam, or CP has approved it.
Deeksha does a terrific job correcting, optimizing the articles. But she doesn't check spam or whatever, she relies on us to do it.

Now it is approved and because no members are listed in "Approved by" I assume it is approved by CP stuffstaff.

In revision one can see that it is approved by CP.
Now it is up to you to organize that the member "spam flags" will be reverted

I believe that spam flags on the article can be reverted by clicking on the shield icon that shows the number of reviews. This brings up a list containing all the reviews, where you can "delete" or "deactivate" (whatever that's for) your review.

The article is one thing, but usually the member will also be reported as spam and this can only be reverted by CP staff.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know if there was a way to undo it for a member's account, and I didn't want to experiment and make the situation worse.

There is ONLY ONE way to undo it, and it is asking the admins to remove them.
About the article being approved by CP... see my answer to 0x01AA above.
TL,DR; Deeksha doesn't check. She relies on us.
What means... you might re-report the article. It still is spam.
