Other series I'd like to see done for TV - and properly, please - Niven's Known Space novels, Zelazny's Amber books, anything by Eddings, Orson Scott Card (but not a crappy movie like last time).
Probably too high quality for most companies though.

Amber! Yes! I'm surprised it hasn't been tried already. It's got everything shows like that need - pretty people arguing, fight scenes (small, big, and immense), and a big chunk of existing content.
A few years back, I would have said they couldn't do Known Space on a TV budget, but The Expanse has been doing quite a nice job of it. It would make for a great series.
Belgariad? Yes please (see above about pretty people arguing)
Maybe even a Riverworld (no, there was never an earlier attempt. No. uh-uh. No how) or Thieves' World/Borderlands/Wild Cards.

Riverworld would be very good - but they'd have to be careful: Farmer also wrote the "Herald Childe" series which ... um ... isn't "Lounge material" if you know what I mean!
Couple of others: the "Culture" series, Chalker's "Well of Souls", Gibson? So many candidates ...

You know what else they should redo? Babylon 5 ... take the characters as they were in the last series - at their best - and put them back to the beginning. Then go through the Telepath War as well - there is so much they could do now that they couldn't then, and all the foreshadowing for it was in the original series in spades.
Gonna upset a load of purists, though!

Honestly, it will be challenging to recreate the atmosphere of the books on screen. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like.

So I'm taking this course "Design and Analysis of Algorithm" for my masters class and we were doing proofs for NP-complete problems. At the end of today's lecture my professor goes like "If you don't fall in love with these proofs then you should go and get your brain tested!" 
Me: (since it's not my favorite subject)
Professor there's one problem. We love these proofs but they don't love us and you know one sided relationships always hurt.
Perhaps my personal life is affecting my academics in much worse way than I anticipated  But at least I made the whole class laugh after a boring lecture (so proud of me)

A colleague of mine holds a Ph.D in optimization of SQL queries in distributed databases. He told that one of the first things he learned was that such optimization is an NP-complete problem. Working on, he realized that that is a gross oversimplification.

Oh! Sorry, when I read repository, I thought you meant something like a GitHub repo that had Linq2Sql examples.

I'm not sure about this but I believe the reason you don't find something like that is that each of these is a way to deal with managing data from code:
1. (sql to classes / objects ala ORM (object relational model) via Repository pattern
2. and a programming construct (LINQ) to deal with it
