Adrian Cronauer has died at age 79, he was made famous by Robin Williams in the movie Good Morning Vitnam. clickity[^]

GMV has one of my favorite lines in it. Cronauer's sargeant points to the stripes on his sleeve and says, "What do three up and three down mean to you airman?" Cronauer replies, "end of an inning?"
I laugh every time I think of that.

The best were Hohne Ranges (or any range day for that matter)... get up at 04:00, collect weapons at 05:00, get the Truck to the ranges for 06:00 and wait until 11:00 til the fog cleared 
Still wouldn't have to have missed it though.. good times and (mostly) good people

I don't remember the last time I used a timesheet.
We used replicon, it sucks.
I'd rather be phishing!

I am still waiting to find that expertly written code that is maintainable, has no bugs, which everyone likes and which costs nothing to write.
For that matter even a car or a lawnmower like that would be nice. Heck even my screwdriver and hammer don't work all the time.
But until I see it I will just keep going through life making do both in the tools that I use and even make accommodations in what I deliver myself so that it can actually deliver some value to someone at some point in time.
