I got Herself the Lobster version of that many years ago for Christmas. Big box - as you'd expect - which I nicely wrapped in Christmas paper, with bows and everything: then insisted it was kept in the fridge until the big day to stop it going off ...

yes, but it's apple, you know it will fit right on as if it's always been there.
if it were windows you'd have to re-format and reinstall the mug first. and if you're left handed, well, best advice: don't even go there.
whereas if it were linux you'd need an entire workshop of tools that make no sense, without labels on the any buttons (if you can find them) just to measure if it'll fit. once there though fitting will be simple. it'll also be really simple to remove ...assuming of course you can remember where you left the workshop.

It uses proprietary coffee that you can only buy from Apple, proprietary milk that you can only get via iTunes, and sugar is under development.
And you will have to replace it every six months with a faster brewing version.

I learned about those professional calibrated level screens, used for broadcast.
Those are expensive; it is not an Apple exclusivity.

As you've probably seen in the CCC thread for today I would like your thoughts on extending the CCC whereby Fridays winner gets to set a theme for the next 5 CCC's. I inadvertently started a spinner them this week which was latched onto resulting in a whole week of spinner based clues which I thought was interesting - thoughts / ideas folks !

It could be fun - but it could make it harder for some to set the next question (it's difficult enough to get a "Good 'un" without extra constraints) while making the solution simpler.
How about a trial? One week only, starting next week to see how it goes?

Good idea, but I think it could help having a theme I find the hardest thing is thinking of a basis for a clue, as someone mentioned earlier though, maybe set the first clue and carry the theme on for the rest of the week

1. Will the first clue state what the theme is at time of posting, or after solving?
2. Will knowing the theme make solving the rest of the week too easy?
