Ah! Ok, so we need to be more specific then: What about "users" seated at desktops as KSI's - as in Keyboard Seat Interfaces. Or then those on phones as "swipers". 
Come on! If you want to write about such things, then at least show you've got some idea of what to do in its place! 
I must say, I've always thought the word "user" has this addict connotation. Though in some cases it may even be an apt analogy.

That's a strong hint that he is useless as someone in the UX/Usability field. The entire field is about defining users, and understanding what behaviors they most commonly expose (hint: it's almost never a single one).
