They've been closed, but I saw them.
At a guess, the account was hacked in late 2016 and used to post site driving to a blog - using English much poorer than the articles by the original.

If we close it and he asks the hamsters nicely, I'd think they would look kindly upon him (provided he takes a crash course in strong passwords).

OK - it could be the same person, sure - but his only other contribution to the site Member questions & answers[^] is a spammy link on a 2011 question, I'm guessing that at least one of the links in the copy'n'paste is no longer to MS Docs ...

I'm going "plagiarised", "spammer", and "spam" for the article, member, and solution respectively.

The problem with that is that they are all between 7 and 5 years old, so getting an accurate idea of "who copied from where" is next to impossible. Your find is pretty clear - MS aren't in the habit of plagiarism, they have too much to lose - but the others we will probably have to "let ride" and just kill the "author". My personal feeling is they will have been plagiarised (get away with it once and it becomes a habit) but we would need proof and that's next to impossible at such long time frames.
