For me is not missing (most of the time), it just shows a number, that has nothing to do with the real quantity.
But yes, it seems to be the same bug

I suspect there's a caching issue involved. I've just seen a notification flag for the first time this week, and I don't have any unread notifications.

Don't get any notifications since about last Monday. And yes there where comments to some of my Posts 
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Or this bug is peculiar to noone else but me. Filter now can't be cleared.
Steps to reproduce behavior:
1. Go to QA.
2. Observe filtered-by text box content (the bug "Interested" -> "C#2.0, C#3.0, C#, C#4.0, C#3.5, C#5" & "Ignored" -> "(e.g. Homework,LOLCode)".
3. Highlight content of both, hit delete, hit update.
4. OK, not "Ignored" ... (but LOLCode? Come on, really?)
5. Hit "Update" (see that "Interested" becomes the old cp liverbird "(e.g. C++, VB)")
5. Change to another webpage, then return to QA.
6. See that the Filter has reverted to the bug (as described above).

Right, I guess it is a "watermark". But, as in this image, "Interested" is "(e.g C++, VB)" and it's behavior, which is the old behavior and the good behavior, upon update, REMOVES all filters.
Focusing then on just "Interested" ... when navigating away from the page and then returning to the page, the NO-FILTER behavior where all the posts are shown is no longer exhibited. SO there's two things that have changed. One -> after update, anything as a watermark exhibits active FILTER (which I don't want ... from a default watermark, right). Two -> I can't return to a NO-FILTER condition under any circumstance.

Here's what I see, the good:

The second one persists and in order to get all posts I have to manually clear the control everytime I return to the page. Notice how there are no parentheses in that new watermark. Nor is there a "e.g" signifying the default condition.
Also please note that any NEXT movement through the returns reapplies the bad filter. So no NEXT page is really available.

I have 19 articles on Codeproject. I can configure the "Email Alerts" in all articles except 4 of them:

I looked into the HTML source code and I find:

As you see the server already sends it as disabled="disabled"
Would you please fix this?

Once again, I want to submit a request for a new major forum section, called "Linux Development", and within this section, have the following forums.
- Python
- GTK+
- QT
- C++
- Mono
- Database
This request is *not* satisfied by the existing forum under Web Development called "Linux Apache, MySQL, PHP". In point of fact, the current web dev forum for LAMP could also be moved to the new section as a move to consolidate all Linux dev into one section.
As we all know (or at least should know), development for the Linux desktop is wildly different from Windows desktop development.

Well, I can't tell the future, of course.
If you decide at a later date that the traffic isn't high enough to warrant the maintenance time required, you can certainly eliminated the forums.
I realize this is primarily a Windows-oriented site, but you do have mobile-oriented forums, so I figured Linux forums wouldn't be a leap too far. Besides that, there's nothing at all wrong with helping devs explore other environments.
(BTW, I ddn't get a notification that you had responded to my original post.)

I really need to update the autocorrect feature on this system...
We've had email slowness over the past couple of days that have resulted in emails being delayed. In some cases such as the daily newsletters we had a situation where they didn't complete by the end of the day and so were cancelled and the new day's email started.
The issue was an interesting one: we do a big cache of data which takes a fair bit of time, and has a large timeout associated with it, but the volume grew to a point where it was just a few seconds past the timeout so kept getting into a try/retry spiral. We've (a) increased the timeout, (b) optimised the requests, and (c) are redoing the whole thing so it's chunked better in order to speed it up by a couple of orders of magnitude.

My sympathies. Timeout to short - retry failure loops really suck. Nothing's worse than something that always just works, right up to the point that it fails for something totally unrelated to whatever you're doing.
