I guess Quantum is the next major evolutionary change in Computing. Sort of like when an asteroid hits the Earth and all but a few species survives, and the biosphere is changed forever. A few species remain to remind us of the history of everything.
I remember a time before I understood ones and zeros, all I knew that existed were zeros. Then ones came along and changed my sphere of knowledge.
