If you could make a tool that can do tabs for block indenting, spaces for within the block and get it running in all major editors I'd call you a hero.
More seriously though, I suspect the union of teams who think automagically figuring out coding style rules is a good idea and teams whose code is consistent enough to get a good rule set by doing so is an empty set.
