I got up yesterday at my usual time of 6am, performed the three S's (sh*t, shower, shave), got dressed and left the house at 6.30am. I drove 25 of the 30 miles to work before I remembered that I was supposed to be on a training course in our other office, which was now 30 miles in the opposite direction (and only about 20 miles from home)!
The course did not start until 9.30am and I arrived at about 7.45am. I could have had another two elephanting hours in bed FFS! There wasn't even anywhere open that I could get breakfast.

Sent on August 17, 2018, means I had that OneDrive account (is it separated from others?) since 2016... As I have MSDN since beginning of time I wonder who created that OneDrive account for me in 2016... Anyway, and considering the frequent use I had - let them delete it!

well, you may discover that someone else, maybe having your same name, is opening various account using your email address 
at least, this happened to me, I had many accounts I was not aware of (samsung, apple, sony) and he gave my email address also to his high school mates to exchange homework 
By the way, when I took control of the mobile phone connected to one of those account, i decided not to abuse of all the information I could get  , I used only the minimum to warn him that he was having some identity clashes, thinking to be someone else

It seems to be very genuine - and yes it have lot of links... That's probably what made me suspicious... All links goes to the same address (click.mail.onedrive.com) regardless of the context...

The response there does not convince me...
1. My email directly stated in the mail, while Microsoft uses my user name in other mails...
2. It uses the right graphical elements, but the design flow does not fit other Microsoft mails...
3. It addresses my work mail, where OneDrive is part of the Office 365 pack and can not be deleted or closed alone...
4. There are several links (including facebook and twitter), but all points to the same site...
All-in-all - it tells me: NO!

I've seen a few of the WA variety (bandy-bandy) which were usually dug up during road building and the like. As the link shows relatively harmless mainly because rarely seen and very small (meaning not a big bite): Snakes Harmful & Harmless - WA Snake ID[^]

I strongly recommend Bill Bryson: Down Under - the funniest travel book I know of. He is obsessed with all the dangers of wildlife, in a very positive way and hillariously funny way, such as stating that an encounter with a crocodile "may be an extremely irreversible experience".
"If you're out in the bush and a snake comes along, just stop dead and let it slide over your shoes."
This, I decided, was the least-likely-to-be-followed advice I had ever been given.
"What about sharks?" I asked uneasily.
"Oh, there's hardly any sharks here. Glenn, how long has it been since someone was killed by a shark?"
"Oh, ages," Glenn said, considering, "Couple of months, at least."
Australia's creatures seemed to have evolved as if they had misread the manual. He also goes into numeric figures for how many new species of both venomous snakes and other kinds of animals are classified every year. The reason this one made it into media is because it is good looking - not because finding and classifying a new species in itself is anything extraordinary in Australia. At least not if we are to believe Bill Bryson.
Even if Bryson might be exaggregating to some degree (that is an element of his style of humour): Read "Down Under". I haven't yet met anyone who did not find the book highly entertaining.
