How about a larger orange dot next to the icon, to match the indicator in the menu?

Sorry Chris, but this is just another example of Hutber's Law; an improvement make things worse. You remove the new flags because you think they are out of date - OK that is reasonable. But you have replaced them with something that is almost impossible to see. Why do you feel that is better?

They weren't meant to be impossible to see and I hope you understand I was truly looking to change it in a positive way.

So: what would look good, be effective, and not add too much extra space?

- have new messages in bold? (We used to do this, but we've reserved bold subjects for thread starts)
- Make the gleam bigger or brighter?
- Have the gleam be always on the far left?
- Change the icon entirely so it's brighter, bolder, yellower?

What would work?

Probably a bigger brighter blob. I'm not a graphic designer, so I don't really know what is best, but I'm sure someone on your team has some ideas. All I do know is that size is important, as is contrast. Maybe the entire message icon in a different colour?

I tried to download the demo project for the article CommandParser - A getopt() Inspired Command Line Parser for C# using LINQ but Windows Defender says it has a virus. I don't know anything more than that. The source is okay.

I've recompiled the demo from the source and re-uploaded, but Windows Defender is still complaining. I've logged a report with the Windows Defender team.

It only happening me on this new account...
Every few minutes (above 3 I think, but didn't checked exactly) the filter gets new value, regardless if I cleaned it on the previous visit or left it as is...
In the last half an hour I got these random sets:

Exactly this I faced also... while using the Company Network.

Still happening here. Looks like it's linked to selecting a site filter on the homepage. Everytime I switch from QA to the homepage, switch from ".NET" to "All" and back to ".NET", when I go back to QA the "Interested"-filter has returned.

Just to be clear:

You have no filter in QA.
You go to the homepage and select from .NET to All and back to .NET
You go back to QA and you now have tags in the filter box.

Is that correct?
