What is your language of choice and why?

This is a general question to all and I really am not asking for help per say, but really just understanding why you have chosen a specific set of tools used for creating the majority of the projects created and what led you to the path you're on.

I used to play a chinese MMORPG after middle school back in 2006. While looking for some Bot's I came across a barebone private server source code written in C#.

I had no idea what programming was back then, neither did I speak english, but that didn't keep me from installing Visual Studio 2005!
Then I began my quest of trial and error for a couple of months before purchasing a book (C# in 21days, took me waaaaay waay longer.)
Might want to add that I had no internet at home and used to play that stuff at my friends or public spaces.

Learned programming offline until 2009 before getting internet access at home.

Now 11 years later, for the past 5, its my job. Never spent a single day in any higher school / university or coding bootcamps Wink | ;)
