I found some trick on the internet for recovering the wifi password and found a trick using CMD. I thought it wouldn't work. But damn! it works! you could recover the password by just typing few commands,
command 1:
netsh wlan show profiles
This will give you the list of profiles, I mean the wifi devices which you have previously connected on your computer.
then
netsh wlan show profiles <your profile name> key=clear
netsh wlan show profiles DLINK-12 key=clear
you could recover your password. eg. Key-Content : YOur Password will be displayed here
so somebody knows how to delete this password?

Do a reset. There's a Reset button on the router. Hold it down until it power cycles.
Then, the User Name is usually 'Admin' and the password will usually be blank or 'password'/'password1'
Be sure to change it once you're in.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.

Not unless you want to remove the network profile altogether.
On Windows 10:
Settings, Network and Internet, Wi-Fi, Manage known networks, select the network profile, then Forget.
After "forgetting" the profile, the 'netsh wlan show profiles' will simply show the profile doesn't exist...so you therefore can't display the key anymore.
Of course, if someone's already logged into your system to enter those commands, you probably have bigger issues.

It doesn't work for me.
But then, my desktop is wired, not wireless...
The WookieTab shows the password, which is poor design from a security POV: it should be hashed not encrypted. But that's the WiFi spec for you - this has been known about for years. How to view WIFI's password or forget this network in Windows 8.1 - Super User[^]

For those of you that do side work... where do you go to find your gigs? Any particular sites you use?

Short answer: from people that I know. Never have gotten side work from any "contract" website, they're all pretty bad, IMHO.
Long answer:
Clients that resurface or people that I've worked with in the past that change jobs and end up asking me to do some contract work.
Otherwise, there's an occasional hit (less frequently nowadays) from someone that's read and article of mine.
I once got what ended up being a long term gig (but overall only a couple hours a week) simply by going to a pot luck and chatting with someone about software architecture, discovering we had very similar views (now THAT was a unique situation!)
However, that gig led to a relationship with another company where I ended up building a website for, which was sweet because I built the site from scratch in C# (et al) rather than trying to maintain/understand someone else's Ruby code.

What Marc said. Doubly so for avoiding the gig sites. I'd suggest poking around various user groups and tech meetings.
A few years back, I attended a Microsoft day event for their embedded products. It was a presentation of what new stuff they were rolling out (conveniently neglecting to mention that they were about to throw us into the river with no paddle or boat, but I digress...). Anyway, over lunch, a few of us were sitting around the table, and one gentleman turned out to be a mid-level manager for a local VAR in the Atlanta area. They had numerous opportunities to deploy custom kiosk solutions across the area, but they could not find anyone to do the code. I still regret not being able to follow up on that opportunity.
Remember that some of this is marketing. Using acquaintances helps the marketing, but getting out there cannot be replaced.

It always comes down to networking, I hated it when that meant hardware, now that it refers to social stuff I loathe it even more. If you are going to get work for yourself (as apposed to contract or employment) you are going to have to get out there and hustle.
Friends, relatives, acquaintances and especially business colleagues and contacts are all potential sources. You need to work them, make sure they all know what you do and that you are interested in custom work.

Reminds me of the time I worked contract for a guy who said I had to be there from 9 to 5, and I had to take lunch, but could not leave the building... I pointed out some other stuff he was doing wrong, in an honest effort to help him improve his business. When he told me I didn't know what I was doing he no longer had a 'contractor' (or any other help!).
