I am not sure I agree with that. The Live Streaming, Escort Services, Movers, etc. is truly spam, but this is a development tool and there is a free edition. If this was an established product like Xamarin, we would let the article through - well, we would not really let it through since the content is too thin, but we would not flag it as spam.
Anyway, it's not like I will be kicking and screaming if our community decides this is spam. And even though the member profile is 6 years old, it has made zero posts prior to this submission, so it will not be a great loss if the account is closed.

I'd disagree - there is a free trial version, but the purpose of the article is to drum up trade and feed people to the paid version. That's OK, but ... the site runs on adverts. They pay the staff, they pay the enormous sunflower seed bills, they pay for the servers. And if we let free adverts through, that undermines the revenue stream which pays for the whole site - because why should advertisers pay Chris and co to post ads if they can get the same effect for free? Too much of that, and the site closes...

If it is a free version, fully functional (it might have less functionality, but at least what it offers works fine) and no time limitation... then I think it is ok.

Well, in this case it's actually not a "free trial version", it is a "free edition". Based on the content of their/his website, I am not sure that the paid edition will ever take off.
Anyway, I think it is fair to label the Zontroy article as spam because, as you say, it is trying to drum up business by introducing the product with a link to their web site.
In my mind I was really seeing this in a different/naive way - a developer that had built a tool and wanted to show it off with a fancy web site, but took that too far by shoving the "Enterprise Edition" in there. I just don't see it as a company.
