I built my own user identity application using JSON Web Token. We use this for all our ASP.NET Web API services as we needed something that we could implement on both .NET and Javascript (our clients are both .NET and Javascript / mobile).

 I kinda agreed with you. There's some risk involved. It could be a hidden agenda embedded in the assembly without our consent.

Because I cannot understand the ones provided. 
I have tried, ASP.NET Identity, even the open source services for OAuth etc, but none of them make sense to me and that is why I write the implementation from scratch with the objects and names that make sense to me.

I apply this concept to pretty much everything. It's nice when people share their work, but bad naming conventions almost always defeat the purpose for me. And in most cases, starting from scratch provides for one of the best learning experiences you wouldn't have otherwise had 
If you have to copy and paste, you're doing it wrong!
