To be honest I don't like the blog feeds because I can't start with them... most of them have links to other parts of their blogs. I find it a big grey zone that need clarification
In an Q&A Item a guy posting links to his own blog would be reported for site driving.
In an article the same.
But in the blogs is quite usual to see links in "reported speech" style... If you have a look to my other article XXXXX I said there // You can get the introduction for this topic in XXXXX
And so on...
But this one[^] writing links to own twater, farcebook and forwarding the code download to his blog is a bit too much in my opinion.
So I would like to ask... how "tolerant" do we have to be with blogs and why do blogs deserve that tolerance if you compare them with the other items published here?
@Chris-Maunder and @Sean-Ewington is there an official answer by CP? What are your personal opinions?

If the intent of a post is to advertise or market a product, and that post isn't posted in the showcase or other sponsored section, then it's spam.
CodeProject is for developers to share their code freely. It's not to be used as a marketing tool for other sites or products.
If the post provides good content then it should stay. If it's spammy it should go. If it's in between then we ask the member to either remove the blatant marketing stuff from the post or the post gets removed.
We'll have a chat with the author.

I did a really cool discovery (I suppose I am quite late on this but...)
In the list of the comments... you can report them within the list, you don't need to go to visit the parent items.
That is a helpful feature to save time.

There's no link, no site - just the text.
I remember it, it came up in moderation so I let it through as I assumed it was a question not an answer.
I suspect it's meant as a question - but a very poor one - rather than anything spammy. Perhaps a "warn and watch" would be a better idea here?
