I was about to write it as well... but not as a report, more as a question.
That NosDB product has pricing, yes... but it has an open source version as well.
What disturb me most is that the guy is working there. If he had no relationship and he were using the open source model... there would not be any reason to report.
@Sean-Ewington or @Chris-Maunder would you please say something about this?
If you are fine with it... please have a look and delete possible wrong reports

He certainly links to his site often in the article. For it to go ahead, I should think they would have to be removed. Otherwise, it is not a bad article, which is a shame.
I think your original idea is a good one - CP should perhaps have a chat with them.

We get this type of article we get from time to time. Open source product or service that offers a paid version or options for hosting or something like that. It's a fine line, but there's no doubt in my mind that if we allow articles like this people will abuse it. They will come in and say, "hey, it's just an open source version," but really their goal is to promote that open source version in an attempt to get people to pay for other versions. So the rule is that articles "must not be about an open source product / service that is tied (no matter how tenuously) to a paid product / service."
Sometimes this means authors with good intentions will get swept up in this rules wake, but that's the unfortunate side effect of people trying to abuse the system.
The articles have been removed.
