You can set Gmail to work via POP or IMAP to use in Outlook. And Gmail for work supports Exchange.

Outlook.com/live.com has a rather good one as well. I have had my live account for at least five years now, and have had only ONE piece of spam get into the inbox. Mark it as such, and hey presto, it's gone.
Very few false positives also.

I always wonder how you guys do it.
I rarely get spam.
For some reason I get the most spam from Microsoft. Their MCP and VS mails always end up in my spam folder 
Other than that... Maybe one email a month. Maybe.
Then again, I really don't need that enlargement I've been hearing about

The criteria for spam are that the message both unsolicited and unwanted, right?
Personally I'd be happy to receive random recipes in my inbox! (Anything to keep the wife happy...)
And no that wasn't an invitation to anyone, because I know some of you would have done it! 
(Well, unless the recipe is really good...)

I believe it: crime or accident victims and other emergency cases (as heart attacks) needing fast help. Often has the emergency team a false address, is driving to some false places or have a traffic jam.
You must know: some minutes making a hugh difference for somebody who is in a life danger.
Thats why "First Aid" is so important
