Hi, Super Lloyd, I have trouble understanding my writing, also Smile | :)

Yes, of course, just because there isn't a specific English word that has the status of a "meme" that encapsulates what I see in the concept of mudita doesn't mean that reality behind it doesn't exits, and is not recognized in any culture. In English, I would use terms like "empathic joy," or "sympathetic pleasure" to describe it. fyi: a parallel to mudita (in the five brahmaviharas) is karuna, loving-kindness, often expressed as karuna-metta, "virtuous compassion."

to your health in mind, body, and soul, Bill
«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors. But stuff that is in the middle category you don’t want to restrict unless there is a clear way to work around it.» Eric Lippert, May 14, 2008

Were you affected by the geomagnetic storms this past weekend?
Communication disruptions, electrified pipes, random unexplained blue-screens in Windows - the list of effects is terrifying.
