I worked for a company in 1998 that was working on the same thing. I'm serious.
The company created a server zipper. It was going to fabulously zip up data on server and ship to special people running our web performance pack.
The company went out of bidness. 
Also, more recently Amazon's Silk browser does the same thing by "zipping" up common content from common sites on Amazon servers and then Silk has fewer connect, obtain, disconnect overhead.
Also, 35% faster?
This is 2016. I'm looking for like 2000% faster.

If you really want to speed up things, throw away the developments of the last 2 decades. Write the pages in simple HTML without those tons of css and javascript, animated images, flash, and all that crap. That would reduce the load time effectively to the ping time.

Microsoft owes its position thanks to piracy. AFAIK, the average pirate does not pay for his/her product.
Fifteen years ago most consumer PC's were running an illegal version of Windows, as well as some companies; that is what got them their market-share in the first place, and that is why one "free" OS won from another "free" OS.
..and no, I'm not going into the quote; any regular school that teaches something like trade or economics can explain why it is wrong.
