Have you actually called Uber and discussed all of this with them? I think red flags have gone off for you, so act on them. Call the company. Just my 2 cents.

I'm still kind of sad.

It worked stupendously back home.

Trip to airport, less than $10, nice guy, living speaking human, everything.

IMHO, my opinion here...

If Uber and companies like Uber are to survive and thrive, in the long run, then they need to have an adequate customer service department. People NEED to speak to other people when there is a problem.

Sorry to find out that you're having issues at the time of updating your mobile information, I understand why is a bit upsetting.

Would you kindly provide the mobile number that your trying to enter?. With that information I can check if is already associated with another active Uber account. This can sometimes happen when people get new phones or change cell phone plans.

And to make this even faster all I'll need to do is verify this number. Can you text your name to 847-416-0610 from the number you wish to use?

Don't worry — you can ignore the automated response about not being able to connect. When you've done that please reply to this email so I can release the number.
