I am using visual studio 2013 and win7 intel processor, the app working correctly with no problems on a PC with intel processor, but on a PC with AMD it works with a bug!
The only difference between the two computers is the processor.
what might be the problem ?? I am newbie.

Given the information you've provided, it's impossible to tell you anything about what the problem might be. Hell, you didn't even tell us what the bug is. For anyone to give you any kind of useful information, you're going to have to provide a LOT more detail about the bug, what the code is supposed to be doing, what the code is actually doing, and show the code that's got the problem.

You are absolutely right, I wasn't clear, My question is: the different processors can make a problem ?
The code is hideous and unreadable at all.

Not a known problem
We're also taking your word for it that it is a problem between processors and not something else that gives the appearance of such. That's why we need far more information.
We're not asking for the entire freakin' application. Just the code that's affected. If, as you say, the code is hideous and unreadable, I would question the quality of the code before I question processor compatibility issues.

Because if not that would be the most likely cause of a problem.

Processor? Unless you have a PC and you physically replaced the Intel chip with a AMD chip it is going to be very difficult to get to the point where a bug is caused by a processor.
Much, much more likely to be caused by something else that id different between the two boxes. Likely what software is installed

The thing is, the native code you run on the Intel PC may not be the same native code you run on the AMD. When you compile your code in Visual Studio it gets compiled down to MSIL language, NOT NATIVE CODE TO THE PROCESSOR. When you launch the .EXE, the MSIL code get's JIT'd down to native code that the processor actually runs. This JIT is compiled for the chip you're running the MSIL code on.
I keep asking you for the code you're having the problem with and you keep ignoring that request. Without, there is very little anyone can tell you that's going to be of any use and surely no actual solutions to the problem.

Then the likely cause is that you are missing a library. It runs on your machine because VS (Visual Studio) installs many things. And if you have any additional libraries then they too can have libraries.
The target machine is probably missing one of those.
Next most likely is that there is some environment difference. For example you are an admin on your machine where the user on the target machine (you or someone else) is not. That is only one example there can be others.

Hi all,
I have application in VB 2010 which write data to xml database, the rate of this data is 150 samples per second, the problem is that there is a data lose in writing to xml database, i try to write in text file and it is work fine. What is the problem, is xml not speed enough to write with this data flow rate?

XML is NOT a database so your question is a moot point.
XML formatting takes time as XML has a bit of a large overhead and at 150 "samples" per second, whatever that "sample" is and how much data is in it, XML is probably not going to be able keep up.
Saving in an actual database engine, like SQL Server, may get closer to that rate but you'll still have to write-cache data and it won't be a real-time write to the database. Look into an MSMQ server to hold the messages and a second process that takes the data from the MSMQ queue and write it to the database.
The best option is to write raw, framed data to a file. This will have the best possibility of keeping up with your data rate. When sampling is complete you can then go back and read the data, and format it and store it in an actual database engine.

What do you mean "best way"? I'ts not that hard. SQL servers let you manage them through SQL commands. You simply execute those commands the same way you would any other query against a database. Create a Connection object, a Command object with the appropriate SQL command to create your database, tables, indexes, or whatever... and call ExecuteNonQuery on the Command object. Do this for each command you need and there's your database.

I'm writing an application in C# language (VS2008) that runs in a device with Windows Embedded Compact 7, so it uses Compact Framwork and not the full .NET framework.
I need to implement something similar to a screensaver and to do this I need a timer to count time and I need to reset it anytime the user do anything.
My problem is that I don't know how to detect easily user activity.
The application has many pages, buttons, textboxes, tables so I can't put a timer reset in any control.
I think there must be a clever way to do this, maybe some Application event but I don't know.
Anyone can help me?

Not quite sure what you want; but in regular Windows, you open a form that covers the screen. Simply catch any input on that form (keydown, mousemove) to check for user-activity.
If you need detect activity without an overlaying form, you would need to hook each control.

I think you have understood what I need.
The screen saver will be a simple form that will pop up (ShowDialog) and cover anything.
To close the "screensaver" I will catch any input on that form as you suggest.
The problem is to start the screen saver.
I can't (or I don't know how to) open a form that cover the screen but is transparent to user, I mean it lets the user interact with the application.
To hook each control is really the only way?
