I have an iPhone running iOS v9.01. I used iTunes to back it up to my computer. I purchased an iPhone running iOS v9.1, and plugged it into iTunes for the first time and it did an obligatory backup. I want to restore the older iPhone's backup to this new iPhone. When I click the Restore button, the only backup it is finding is the one just made from the new iPhone. iTunes must be looking at version information in order to know which backups will work and which ones will not. As I understand it, iTunes' backup process is supposed to only backup non-OS related stuff like contacts, messages, pictures, and other app data. The problem is I've read several places on the Web about folks doing this same thing successfully (i.e., backing up from one version and restoring to another). Anyone have experience in the matter?

Thanks.
