The article is about the same product but did not contain a product link. So I'm not sure what to do with it.

He is the CEO of the company, according to the "about us" page on the site he links to, so his article and account are spammy, no question.

The message is spam as well by the same logic.

The article he posted the message to was published the same day as his comment, and is the only post by that user:

Those aren't spam: they are abuse to an extent. "yyy" and suchlike aren't good messages, but they are allowed.

They should be tagged as abuse if anything, not spam though - otherwise the spam detector gets false data and that increases the number of false alarms.
