Hi,
I want to ask which way is better for mobile site?
Using CSS and adjust the DIVs based on screen width and height?
Or redirect to a folder with complete mobile site?
what's your advise?

"It depends". If you want your mobile site to be the same as your desktop site, just with a different display then the best way of doing that is via a responsive css design so the same site looks different on smaller devices. However if you want the site itself to be different, maybe you want a scaled-down version for mobiles with less pages and features, then it might be easier to have a different site for mobile that uses the same back-end.

Hi Jassim,
The best way is to create a website using responsive theme. But if you are using a non-responsive theme then go for editing the theme with CSS.
You can also add a different site for mobile devices. But the problem will be that you have to manage two different websites for desktop and mobile users.

hi,
i have google autocomplete suggestion in textbox and added jquery autocmplete suggestion to google pac-container div.
If i select the jquery suggestions from div, i am able to fire in

Hi . I am working on web page using ASP.NET.
I have a dashboard . In that dashboard I have 4 grid views. On every grid view I put ADD NEW Button
each. On clicking on that add new button J query modal pop up is opening and in that modal popup I have embedded different aspx page(so Called MasterData.aspx) in it using iframe tag.
On click on server side save button after saving a data . The modal pop up should close.
Note : This modal pop up is on Dash board page , My requirement is from MasterData.aspx page . modal pop should close which is on dashboard.aspx page

As a developer would you send a webpage as a CV/ Resume? Or should one send a .rtf or .doc?

I always send my resume as a word document.
Yet, in my resume there are references to my articles, my web page etc.
I wouldn't send only the Web page... yet if you think your web page has great information (or can really show your work), make it clear on the resume that the web page visit will pay.

Sending resume is a standard while applying for interview. So it is better not to ignore it. But as a developer your CV can't show your live work.
Therefore, it is better to send CV and add the address to your portfolio website.

On the client side, Moment.js[^] or one of the many javascript date pickers would be the best option.
On the server side, it depends which framework / language you're using. For .NET, DateTime.TryParse is the way to go, as Mika suggested. Other frameworks will probably have something very similar.
If you try to re-invent date validation using string manipulation, you'll either get it wrong, or drive yourself mad trying.

You can use jQuery.ajax to load server side pages.
Example:
$.ajax({
url: 'default.aspx',
cache: false,
success: function (data) {
$('#page-content').html(data);
}
});
If you are loading these pages from another aspx page, you might need to remove runat="server" from your <form id="form1"> tags in your pages that you want to load. I had issues regarding duplicate form tags.

I have a client who wants to establish SSO with a Salesforce site (different domain) using ADFS as the IdP/STS. Unfortunately, they do not want to use the login page on ADFS - they want to continue to use their site's login page, taking away my option for using passive federation.
I have already written code using WSTrustChannelFactory that is successfully authenticating the user via the ADFS server, decrypting the claims being returned, building the ClaimsIdentity, ClaimsPrincipal, SessionSecurityToken (SST) and using the FederatedAuthentication.SessionAuthenticationModule.WriteSessionTokenToCookie() to write the SST to the cookie.
I now have two questions. First, do I need to do anything else so that when the user is redirected to the Salesforce site that site will be able to determine that the user was already authenticated on "my" site? Second, since I can't use WIF's FAM/SAM modules to "automatically" determine if authentication has already occurred, what steps do I need to take on the client's site to deal with the situation wherein the user authenticated on the Salesforce site then navigated to my client's site?

Hi,
Is it possible to add Custom Suggestions to the google.maps.places.Autocomplete suggestion.
Below code i used to get the google suggestion list based on text entry on textbox but i need to add additional suggestion from database based on same text entry and add those suggestions to this google suggestion list DIV.
