Both my mother and grandmother used to refer to a group of 6 kittens as being a littered, ( like group of cats as a clowder) as opposites to just a normal litter of kittens. Hence my comment before. I've tried to find a reference to this, but could find anything anywhere. That wasn't part of it was it?
Didn't want to answer the CCC as I let others enjoy trying to solve.

Could have just a local term as both were born in NZ. Thought it might an old fashioned term my grandmother ancestors bought over from the old country, but maybe not. Either that or I heard them wrong or my memory going

Over the period of time I have written few short stories for my amusement. I am trying to convert them or alteast one story into a book.
Just wanted to know from personal experience if there is any platform for the hobby authors to publish their work and sell them as a digital/ebook.
Proofreading will be a added advantage too. I am not sure book will be sold a lot (if any) so cost should be at lower end if not free.

Hmm! It doesn't seem to bother most self-publishers ... or even a few established publishers. I get correction versions on my Kindle at least once a week!
You're unlikely to get it for free ... unless you know a proofreader of whom you also have a picture with which to blackmail!

Same here. I've checked that thing twice. Also that email notification confirmation has been showing up for the past 30 minutes. My guess is they did a release today and didn't functional test the website enough.
