Missed that part... srry, but I won't change much I said. I'd still compromise as I'd probably have a customer I'm doing the project for who would also give deadlines (probably unreasonable). If it was the companies project, the main reason for them having different preferences than me would be because they want to please the customer. Which produces the same end result.
