It's funny how quickly videos, photos and links float around social media. Just encountered www.pielinks.com on facebook. I must say it does sound interesting and looks like a good initiative to help move idea to invention. But you never know.. 
I have just registered interest as they mentioned registration is via invite only. I thought to share it with you clever lot, as it may interests lot of you....

Is it me, or did the latest update to Thunderbird give it the Relaxed View that Code Project came out with a while back?
I hate it on Thunderbird as much as I do on Code Project. The difference is here I can use a drop down to change it back to compact.

I think they ruined it, the old puppet version was far superior (and the acting was less wooden)

I've noticed that my profile image and that of others have all disappeared?
Are they going to be re-instated or do we need to re-upload them? When will this functionality be restored?

You can still see people's images if you hover over their names in the forum (if you have the feature enabled), so it just seems to be a minor bug.
It's also worth posting (and checking for) bugs in the Site Bugs / Suggestions[^] forum.

OK, I get why the BBC doesn't let us folks from overseas watch stuff on iPlayer - they (or someone else) can sell the programs overseas, and have potential copyright issues.

But they just released a 'teach kids to program by playing a dr. Who game free online'
And you can't use it outside the UK.
I have a coderDojo on saturday I was aching to let the kids give it a go - now it's a no go (although most of them Im sure could find a proxy in a few minutes, it's not ethical to teach 'em to circumnavigate such things.
