I think a mid-life crisis car would be something like a Corvette or a car with a name that ends with "i", used mostly to attract women.
This is a balls-out hotrod, and I don't care if it attracts women. If recent car meet reactions are any indication, women that are interested in the car are far far far far outnumbered by the male of the species. I've had exactly four women that were truly interested in the car. They were all way too young, and I don't have time to train them in the ways of the horse.

Well, I don't really know. I replaced the suspension and brakes last year, and that consumed pretty much every weekend for about 8 months. This engine swap only took 28 days, with me only participating for half a day every two-three days, and all day Saturdays.

So the wife is shaking me awake this morning. "Wake up, wake up, it's late!"
"What time is it?" I mumbled.
"Nearly seven", she replies.
I picked up my phone: 0457.
She laughed. "Oh dear", she says, "I think I was dreaming".
Me: grunt, snore, sleep.
There was no argument but I am still tired.
