I have a whole slew of machines...
Two Core i7 desktops, one is a Gateway gamer machine the other is a gamer machine put together by a one of the companies that advertises on TigerDirect, one older Pentium processor gamer desktop that I don't use much anymore plus I have a Core i3 laptop that I run Linux on, and two Linux servers that run services (source control and file share).
I used to have an SSD on my Linux laptop but I had RedHat on that and switched over to another drive with Ubuntu on it (kept the old RedHat but haven't used it since I swapped).

Ultimate power in a laptop may have its downside . My laptop has :-
Fast I7 processor
32GB Ram
Dual raid-striped SSDs
Kick-ass NVidea graphics
Bluray writer
But it's been away for warranty repair for the last 5 weeks after having mysteriously died whilst in sleep mode overnight. So far it's had
New motherboard (twice)
New graphics card (twice)
both SSDs replaced
a new touchpad
a new 'sub-board' (whatever that is)
...and still it has an intermittent fault that they can't get rid of
Whereas my old Core I3 rubbish machine, which I've had to switch back to in the meantime, still works perfectly.
Be careful what you wish for...

Great.
Now, set it aside for playing games, and do all your developing on the old machine.
That way, your programs won't run like molasses on customer machines.

Pretty soon, I expect to see the Silver Surfer flying around.

Carlo, you of all people should have got the reference to the way numbers were written back in Roman times. To explain - the first woman is 6 from BSG. The second is 7 of 9 (and that was one of the more SFW pictures I could find for her).

Sorry I'm rather dull (Carlo needs more ): Are the women numbered in the series?
