Ya gotta yell at them. Stop, turn around and ask what they're trying to get you to do.
We had this one guy who would just "click here. Here here no just click here. here. Now go there..click on that, right here...here. no here" He sounded like he'd drank 2 gallons of red bull.
Finally had to bark at him to get him to stop. Nicely. But it was what it was.

I only use the back end of a pen. It doesn't leave a mark, and I don't have to get as close to the person operating the screen. Trying to preserve personal space!
