So I received an e-mail informing me that I got coupons for Workspaces, and there's a link to Beta Tester's Forum, but it tells me I cannot access it:
"-- The discussion board is restricted and cannot be viewed by the general public --"
(I redeemed coupon BTW)

Think I found the issue: your credentials were cached. Try redeeming again (it'll complain you've already redeemed) but it should kick the cache
|

I have the same issue. I tried redeeming the coupon again but I got "Coupon not valid" and I still have no access to the Beta Testers' Forum. By the way, all of my profile customisation is gone after redeeming the coupon. And my signature is also gone!

Hi Chris, I got the same message. In that message it said I could return the coupons if I do not want to use them but there were no instrictions on how to do so.

finally figured out the problems that I was having...
just out of curiosity but are the gits private?? looks very interesting so I am just curious about what all it can do. if the gits are private then I am sure I have some friends who will want one of my coupons.

I cleared my cache and did Cntrl+F5 too. I am on FF27.

I got an email about some coupon whatchama![Green Alien | [Alien]](https://codeproject.global.ssl.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/alien.gif) , and the email contained a link to the Beta Tester's Forum, along with instructions to read more about the coupons there. When I go to that forum, I get:

I am pretty sure CP guys have a real good reason for this. Why don't you guys use server push? Why we need to refresh all the time to refresh our notifications?

My 2 cents.
Can we have some kind of email verification when a new account is created before someone can access anything? Also, can we have say, captcha verification for say, first 5 or 10 posts a new user makes?
This could well be annoying but I think can help reducing spam attacks.

Email verification won't do much, if anything: you probably have access to as many different email addresses as I do - unlimited. All it does is make them "block book" new members so they can use them one after another - it won't slow them down much, if at all.
Captcha won't help either as far as I can see - it's human beings doing the posting, judging by the time between posts, so a captcha is only going to add a couple of seconds.
