I don't know about you, OG, but I find Top Gear is getting rather stale now. I still enjoy it when I can be arsed to watch it but I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. Perhaps the format is getting long in the tooth perhaps. I rather prefer the individual series that Clarkson and May have made. Anything that pushes that pratt Hammond out of the way can only be good. And on that bombshell...goodnight.

I know what you mean, but...compared to the load of rubbish and repeats that is the alternative fare for a Sunday night it at least has the advantage of being funny and new, if not original. And it still has moments of brilliance!

Top Gear followed by some internet program on Quest @9pm. I watched the one they had on last week about the evolution of Search and it was pretty interesting. This weeks is all about the likes of Ebay and Amazon. Should be good. The ones on Quest are not new, and can be found on youtube. Just search for "The True Story of the Internet"

I'll try and catch the series on YouTube - I can't watch it on TV as Herself will find it boring.
Which means that she will be happy for me to watch it, provided she can talk over the top and complain loudly when she gets confused...not conducive to a comfortable evening.

Since it's Groundhogs Day here in the Colonies, I wonder if we might combine two traditions by preparing the puddings with groundhog grease? Punxsutawney Pudding, anyone? 
My Scottish/English Granny taught me to make what she called "pig-in-a-poke" but which I learned here should be properly called "toad-in-a-hole." It's a delicious combination of pork sausage links embedded in Yorkshire pudding, and virtually guaranteed to lead to serious heart disease and cholesterol problems. She was never affected by it, nor have I to date, having prepared and consumed it at least weekly all of my life. I have, however, in order to remove confusion, renamed it as I prepare it, "Swine Pie." Please update your dictionaries, as appropriate.

Indeed, a good Toad in the Hole is a thing of beauty, served with a good gravy! So much does depend on the quality of the snags though: using the cheapest you can find is not a recipe for success!
These are good: Black Farmer[^] - 90% "proper" meat, they have excelent taste and texture. Brilliant for sausage sarnies as well, but I'm sure you can find "real meat" sausages in the US as well as the "mechanically recovered" meat versions

I use only Farmer John Original (last in the list) Breakfast sausages[^] for my toad, and skip the gravy. They're skinless, too, and I detest gnawing on casings.

The reality is much, much worse...you really do not want to know what they do, and what ends up as "meat" from the MRM process. Google can tell you, but unless you have never eaten it you probably don't want to look. A hint: The industry name for the product is "white slime"...

Where is the real journalism? I keep hearing about the battle there are almost no details. Basically, large battle online, then description of eve, then comparison of "costs" but no real costs.
I mean really, a large epic battle sparked by non-payment of a bill? That could be a great analysis on all of humanity where are the details.
Also, does one actually have to pay 3000 real dollars to get a titan is is that merely the costs of a titan if a person purchased game dollars using real dollars instead of trading to the top? See real details.
