I use Epsons - have for ages. Mostly because they are very economic to run, since the printhead is not part of the cartridge (unlike HP) and they use separate cartridges for each colour - so if Cyan runs out, you don't have to chuck away Magenta and Yellow as well. They also have a fairly straight paper path which means they can take thicker media (I get 260gsm photo card through easily) and don't peel labels off internally either...

Currently I have a BX305FW which includes scanner with sheet feed and a fax (not that I use that part) and has wireless built in. The exact model is probably well out of date, but they will do an alternative for around £100.
