Being Canadian, it is clearly in my veins. I watch every single match of my beloved home team (Montreal) and I play at least once a week.
How many of you out there like it as much (or not as much)? Any software dev who's also a hockey fan?

Ha nice. The Rangers are 2nd out of the 30 teams in the NHL that have the most money with a valuation of 850M$. I don't know how it compares to other sports teams, though.

Luckily enough, I don't play pro so there's a mandatory mouth piece and full-face mask rule that helps me keep all 32 of them at the right place!

I heard if you buy a hockey ticket in Phoenix, they give you a meal combo, some Coyotes props and a key to the city. All that for 19 dollars.

Over here the scale goes from England to Finland.
It's fun watching live, not very fun on the telly and I basically never get to watch it live due to the exorbitant prices on tickets.

I don't know how much it costs back where you are, but here the average price for a game ticket is around 75$. The games are always sold-out. ALWAYS.
