The immediate problem with your code is that the Hex function will return a three-character string for any character whose ASCII code is less than 3840, but when you try to decode the string, you're taking four characters at a time.
The larger problem is that you're trying to invent your own "encryption" algorithm, and that's never a good idea. Use an established and tested algorithm instead. CAPICOM[^] would be a good place to start.
Finally, you appear to be starting a new project in a dead language. VB6 was released 15 years ago, and is no longer supported. You should switch to .NET - Visual Studio Express[^] is free, and should be more than enough to get you started.

How can i insert any text(Default) under Column("Name") in the Grid Control
I am able to initialize the colomn Names and add one row.Just need to add one default value under Column(Name)
Please find the code below which i tried :

Helixgrid is not part of the framework. For support, you'd contact the support-department of the vendor.

Yes its a VB6..The control used is HelixGridcontrol.

You'd have to get with the people who made the HelixGrid Control for support. It's extremely unlikely you're going to find anyone in any forum who has any experience with that control.

I am new in TAPI & PBX, and I'm planning to create a program in VB.NET that is linked to PBX using TAPI3.0 dynamic link library (DLL). I don't have any idea how these things work. So I am trying my luck here... Can anybody help me out with this thing?

Hi BPFH,
I downloaded the sample code from the article, but I don't think if this thing will gonna work on my computer.
What are the things should I configure and install on my machine before running this application?
ex:
1. Computer (using the downloaded TAPI app.) should be connected to:
a. VoIP
b. Data
2. Software/application should be installed to:
Server Computer - software to install
Client Computer - software to install
3. Testing procedures that will evaluate the setup and configuration if its working

.NET, but that should already be installed. TAPI3 should also already be on your PC. There's no mention of additional requirements.

Depends on what you're going to do. TAPI is low level access to the telephony-services, which you can use from VB.NET, that's true. How you use it, is up to you.

2. Read the recorded voice calls
3. Call and received using the created phone user interface

I already have a fulltime job; I can help you if you have a specific question. In general, you'd split up the problem in little parts, and solve each of them. I'm not sure whether you can get logs, but it shouldn't be too hard to dial a number.
There will not be a complete step-by-step example on how to build such a thing; you'll be spending quite some time researching.

Hello friends! Please help me out of this stuff. I have the following code to copy files from one folder to another in vb6.0. FileCopy App.Path & "C:\mywork\dbase.mdb", App.Path & "C:\newfiles". From the code, mywork is the folder that contains the file I want to copy, and newfiles is the destination folder. But when I click on the copy button, it shows runtime error, Path not found. Please any help will be appreciated.

Re-read what you just posted. You're prepending App.Path to the hardcoded path of "C:\mywork\dbase.mdb" and "C:\newfiles". What's the value of App.Path?? What would the complete paths look like if you prepended that value to both of the paths you specified?? Does those results look like valid file/folder paths to you??

I've told you exactly what to look at so you can solve it yourself. This is VERY easy to solve, if you have any debugging knowledge at all.
Click on the FileCopy line, set a breakpoint on it (under the Debug menu) and run your code. When it gets to this line, the code will stop. You can then use the Visual Studio debugger to look at the values of variables.
I can't tell you exactly what the line should read because only YOU know exactly what you want this code to do.

From your post it would seem that leaving off the App.Path and just using the actual file locations would work for you. i.e, FileCopy c:\mywork\dbase.mdb, c:\newfiles. That is, if the mywork directory is under C:\ and it is truly not under your apps working directory. Typically the debugger will let you know what is failing so you should look at that as you program when things do not work.  You may have to show more actual code here to have someone help you.

To send an SMS from a computer you will need to subscribe to and pay for a service to send SMS texts.
The other option is to buy a cheap Android mobile phone and write something to connect to the device and send texts via the phone itself.
This second option would mean that you would need to look into programming with an Android device and write some sort of service to connect to the device via a wireless connection.
