Yup, and still is, except for between data centers. Seems a bit of a half-fix, but what do I know about running a network of that size.
Never trust the stormtroopers. They can't aim, and as they're all clones, they die together.

There you go - one of many things I wouldn't have thought of.
Which makes me again wish those barges were going to be floating data centers. Having their butts sitting on ocean water may have been a nice passive cooling strategy. Of course, you'd still have to get the fibre over to the mainland.

Microsoft is not new to the concept of donating software for those in need; every year, the company uses DreamSpark, BizSpark, and their team devoted to “corporate citizenship” to donate software and services around the world to those in need. Microsoft has also been noted to donate to nonprofits and have kept Office 365 free of charge to those who qualify. Now, the team up in Redmond will be adding Windows 8.1 to that list. Well, that's one way to get people using it

Box trumps Dropbox, Egnyte, Citrix ShareFile, EMC Syncplicity, and OwnCloud with rich mix of file sync, file sharing, user management, deep reporting, and enterprise integration. Of course, not to many beat "a hard drive in your own server", but here you go

As the old saying goes, when they start insulting you, you’re obviously doing something right. And judging by the comments being thrown Google’s way by Microsoft about Gmail, it’s pretty obvious that Redmond is worried. He’s worried enough about Gmail to build a new website and start a public smear campaign. "Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win."
For those who think Google's the only NSA-conduit, I think you're just fooling yourselves.

I would put this down to convectional currents that are already in place and have momentum, while the hot water is cooling down just after being heated. It is logical to assume it is easier to generate moment when the difference in temp. between the 2 parts ( Water and air) are greater.. This is my theory anyway lol..
