It sounded familiar to me as well. I might seem a little alarmist, but the notion of a satellite broadcasting microwaves onto my head sounds a little unpleasant.
I imagine those kind of details have been worked out, and the chance is small that Nero could get a hold of it along with some red matter to blow up our planet.

The way Linus acts like an unrepentant raging elephanter and responding to criticism by insisting that being an elephanter is part of his Finish manliness I don't see it changing. Noone wants to work with a jerk.
