i have this error and i don't know how i fix it.

You would need to find out which file your application is trying to use and is missing and add it to your setup program.

Make sure you have the right folder structure while installing this program.
A file might be getting missed.

i think that i have all the files as i have the same project in 2 versions 32bit compiled and 64 bit and the 64 bit version is ok.

hi

i have a program in c# that when i press button exit it appears
a message box that tell you if you want to exit from the program or not.

But if you press No the program make exit.

Not from that code - if I paste it in and hook up the event then it does what I expect. Shows the box, press Yes and it exits. Press No and it doesn't.

Check that you are executing the right code: put a breakpoint on the if line, and see if the debugger hits it.

Sometimes when I have an issue like this, I'll break it out. Store the result of the messagebox in a variable and stop at that point. You can see exactly what is happening each step.

What OriginalGriff said is the first step.

Then you need to start by looking at the button you press in the designer, and see where a click event is taking you. Because if the debugger isn't hitting the if condition, then it isn't executing that method... Laugh | :laugh:

Is that btnLogout also the CancelButton of your form?

Then you must handle the Form Closing event, and set its Cancel property to true in case you do not want to close the form (in btnLogout_Click just do a this.Close()).

for the use that i want it i just make none the cancel button property that has the logout_click button Smile | :)

so i use only the command application.exit();
and when i press button logout and in messagebox NO then it stay in the form that i am at the same time

Who is this aimed at? Is this meant to be a question? I can't tell because there seems to be a lot of confusion there.

If it's a question about displaying pictures in XTraReport, the DevXpress forums will be your best source for an answer. Try looking here[^] and entering XTraReport Picture as your search criteria.

Hello,

when I am using axWidowsmediaPlayer and Dispose it afterwards. I get memory leaks. The mediaplayer is dynamically created with each usage and after some time disposed. Every single instance stays in memory until the system crashes.

I need help here. Could't find anything useful on the net.

The exceptions when disposing are:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.InvalidComObjectException
"COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW cannot be used"

Exactly that is the problem. Why don't you instantiate just one single instance, use it for all the files to be played, and then dispose of it correctly when you close your program?
The exception you show is just a consequence of the wrong code, not its cause.

I have to do it like that because I want to play more than one video at the same time and want to be able to use the form to show pictures without video

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
