but i obtain every time the same error:

You should provide a link to the document that you are trying to download. Are you sure that you are getting this from CodeProject and not some other site?

Can it be made a little more useful? Probably catch the user's previous login time and limit the images to only forums which have new messages after that time?

I've got a bunch of monkeys out here, sharing the same connection through a router. They have just got hold of a new tool called "WireShark" along with (possibly) BackTrack or Kali. So they are busy wiretapping every now and then. CP is mostly on HTTP, except the money places, so I fear if they can easily snoop out my credentials and then fiddle here with my account!
So, please, if possible move the login part to HTTPS. Though, I know, HTTPS is computation intensive.
I'm aware by now (by reading previous posts) that login is sent to an https server but, since the login page is sent over HTTP it is very very prone to MITM (those monkeys are armed with tools too!), so please provide a link to an HTTPS target on the home page so that we can easily go there and sign in through an HTTPS page, just like WikiPedia has a secure sign-in page.

At the top right of the page is the "sign in" link which is a link to an HTTPS page.
