Hi, I have write an article[^] but editors[^] has approved it as tip, so I got 10 points. After that I requested the editor to approve as an article, so the approved it but I didn't receive the points for posting an article. Please do something.

I have downvoted your post for (mostly personal opinion) the following reasons:
- You seem to care more about your reputation that contributing to the site. Although posting an article is a good (scratch that, great) thing in itself (and should bring well-deserved rep points), it is not the ultimate reason to do so.
- Apparent impoliteness to CP team: please do something. While Chris and Co. are indeed running the site and among their job descriptions is fixing issues such as the above, I believe simply stating your issue would've been enough, and they would've fixed it without you asking them to.
I may be wrong about it though, and if I am, please correct me and I will recast my vote. I will also take a look at your article and vote it properly.

Don't be. Although I haven't written any articles yet (but I am preparing one, or at least have the basic idea what it'll be about), as long as it is accepted, it should be fine.
Also, don't worry much if you get downvoted on your articles (at least as long as there are fewer down- than upvotes). Some people will just not get it.
A good idea maybe would be to also double-check or triple-check with experienced members before you post an article - there are some (Pete O'Hanlon comes to mind, as well as Nish and Sacha Barber) who have published some really outstanding stuff in here, and are more than qualified to provide feedback and help.

Hmmmmm. I'm afraid that I've got some bad news for you there - in all but the most exceptional cases, early articles tend not to be too brilliant. I'm not saying yours isn't, I haven't had a chance to read it yet.
As an author, learning the craft of writing articles, you will come in for a lot of criticism. If your ego can't take it, then you will have problems. Read each comment that your article gets, and try to learn from it. Use what you learn to improve the article, and to craft new articles. You will improve, and the votes will get better. Eventually, you could be up among the CP article greats such as Nish, Sacha, Marc and Marcelo.

Pete is too modest to mention his own articles[^], which are further examples of how to do it properly. And, as he says, focus on getting your article right and the points will come, but don't waste time worrying about them.

This is a spammer. It appears, however, that they've posted the majority of their spam in a private forum that I can't view. Nothing wrong with spammers being so dumb they create spam only visible by themselves. However, there is a bug I noticed...
Under the private forum on that user's member profile page (where it says "The discussion board is private and cannot be viewed by the general public"), there are some hamsters chowing down on some servers and a message of "Something bad happened". I don't see that on other member profiles.

I still see frenzied hamsters. Tried refreshing about 10 times. Tried viewing in a different browser (though, I couldn't see the hamsters until I logged in).

[BTW, I see deleted answers are no more visible to even high rep members. Made it hidden deliberately? For scenarios like this one, if they are visible to high-rep members, it would be easy to understand what happened. For now, when I saw the question, at first I was confused if it was a new one?]
UPDATE: Just got a comment from Wes[^] and when I went to read it, found my answer is still there, but the URL is different! Not just it, I re-posted my answer to new URL, but my answer is present even at the old one. Some URL issue probably. Converting message type to BUG. Something there.

Is there something wrong with the Q&A answers count for members? When I go to the Who's Who page, the number of Q&A answers is missing for all members (not 0, not 1, not error, just missing altogether).
I'm using Chrome 21.0.1180 and last time I was there (maybe 3-4 days ago), I remember it worked

Good Morning!
This is about the article: "Using a Doc/View exported from a dynamically loaded DLL (SDI)", by Dave Loeser, found in Document/View section (MFC).
When I attempted a few times to obtain the files "SdiCViewDll_src.zip" and "SdiCViewDll_demo.zip" of this article, there has been no 'response' from your website. Seems the files no longer exist or some link is missing. Can you kindly look into the matter?
