I just saw two articles with (almost) the same title, and the same content:
Setting-up an Oracle Database for .NET Development[^] by SoftFluent (http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=7585133[^])
and
Setting-up Oracle Database for .NET development[^] by Member 8770718 (http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=8770718[^])
What went wrong here?

Sadly even I do not have the ability to change the type. If it is an alternative to an article it defaults to the article type with no option to change it.

In this case I would be happy to repost it for you as a Tip, if that would be agreeable. (we are also currently discussing ways internally of making this system better)

- Section:
- SubSection:

But ... I canot find definitions of: Technology, Section, SubSection

In the template, "License:" has a hyperlink. Why can't Technology, Section, SubSection?????

Can anyone tell me where-to-find the possible choices for each?

Technology is really just what tags you wish you put on your article so that people can search for your article by tag on CodeProject. Also, you can see all the possible sections from here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Content/SiteMap.aspx[^]

I have published a new article but the download of the source code does not work. Also it is not possible to browse the source code. It says No downloads associated with the article. When I edit the article I see the zip file is uploaded.
Please could you support me? Do I need to do something differently?

I published an article on july 15th this year:

I also had this problem. Download wasn't working, the images were not visible either. It didn't work under preview either. It seems this only happens the first time you publish, and after it is fixed it never happens again. I also saw this happening with the article of http://www.codeproject.com/Members/MVukoje[^]:

Pretty annoying, and certainly not encouraging when you post for the first time...

Actually this was not my first article. So I think it can be a sporadic issue.

Same as you, I had problems with images too - although they were ok in preview.
The links to them were broken and I also did not see them as uploaded when I then wanted to correct the article. So I re-uploaded them again.
The zip file for download was in the system (I saw it among uploaded files) but when you clicked on it in the article the download did not start.

It looks my download problem is already fixed. It started to work (after several hours) so I thought maybe the administrator read this entry and fixed.

I have my spanish blog but in many situations I post some items in English. With the category "CodeProject". So, I apply the rss feed on this category http://www.cmaswp.com/category/codeproject/[^]

My post have 1009 words.

The problem yesterday was I published a blog post and codeproject consumes that, but post as Article. Obviously the community closes because is not a Code project article.

How can I publish my technical blog here right now?
