I have a job where I pretty much get to set my own pace and work on stuff that I enjoy. Stuff l ike programming and designing hardware, for me it’s like playing. 
The added bonus is that my company allows me 20% of my time to develop personal projects (Projects that benefit the company course...)
It’s not always fun and games, but that’s just a pat of life.
I am very fortunate, and I am proud to say I like my job and many others think so as well. 
It was broke, so I fixed it.

There is an idiom that "Pride goes before a fall", or something like that. I'm not sure I can say I am proud or not proud to be a programming-writer. I am proud of most of my work, does that count?

Now that I'm a programmer and manager, I create things that are useful, and I can make sure others (the people who report to me) are treated with the respect, understanding and appreciation that they deserve. All in all, life is good and I'm proud of who I am and what I do.

If i took one i will make sure i will be proud of it specially i didn't take one  ,almost 4 years  No Vacations .

Bad news, kid. I tried saving the world. Too many to save, not enough time, money or people interested in trying. Don't worry about saving the world. Pick one single creature and try to save it. If you do that, pick another and try to save it. One small piece at a time - that's how you save the world.
And look at it this way. Programming might not be the most directly world-saving profession, but on the other hand it's not refining weapons-grade Plutonium  There are always shades of gray.

I don't see myself doing anything else, and I can tell that for a couple of times I took the other lane but ended on this one short after 
For starters my mother gave me my first computer when I was 8. It was a ZX Spectrum 2048.
Great machine that I manage to start programming about an year after just by trying the few commands on the last page of the manual
From then on I had other machines, always trying to get the most out of them but on the university I went to Mechanical Engineering. 
I can tell that I never done anything professionally on that area and start my career as a software developer 
So Hell yeah I'm proud!!
