Hi. I want to send XML data from a windows Gadget to a aspx.net server. What is the best way to do it?
This is what i have so far, thank you Smile | :)

PS: I can't use submit forms. My gadget disapears and a small white square shows up instead.

You could use a jQuery Ajax POST and pass the XML in as the 'data'

http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.post/[^]

You seemed to have missed the concept of this site. Poke tongue | ;-P

The usual modus operandi on CP is that somebody who has an issue with something programming related, posts a message describing the problem in detail and what they already tried and so on. The CP members then try to assist the poster to resolve the issue.

Declaring you know something about javascript and google maps and bing is neither helpful nor interesting.
If you think you know enough about that topic write an article and publish[^] it here on CP.

I haven't yet written any aritcles here on CP, but I did have two alternates to existing tips.

URL Parameters are called QueryStrings in the web world.

Use Request.QueryString to get the parameters defined in the URL.

As pointed out, you can't get it in the next page because you haven't been there yet. However, you can do the following:

I am Yograj,
I am using Grid View control and text box using item template. On lost focus of text box or at the time of typing amount in text box, I have to call a function "ShowCalculate()" so that I can display the result in column next to the text box in Grid. I want to do all this on Client side using JavaScript or JQuery. I dont want to use AutoPostback = True.
How can i perform this task?

in this case you might want to call a web method using JQuery or PageMethods[^].
