Well, you can have it automatically break out of the IFrame using this userscript[^] I just wrote. It's written for Chrome; I don't run Greasemonkey in my Firefox installation, so I'm not sure it'll work there too... but I can't imagine why it wouldn't unless GM doesn't support the @match header.
I'll update it if it breaks, since I'll be running it myself, and it will annoy me. :P

Had the same thing happen to me. I confirmed my email once (without errors) and later got the prompt again on top to confirm my email. Did it once again (without error). Hope it stays this time
