guys;
As we know file upload uses a file dialog to let the user select the file to be uploaded. In most browsers the js code execution stops until the dialog is closed, but not in Safary and Opera.
I am wondering if there is a way to detect the dialog closing.
Help people,so poeple can help you.

You can simply use Ajax in your Application..
UpdatePanel is the most common and it helps in avoiding whole page post back and set only the required part of page to postback.
Ajax Control Toolkit is other Free Tool to include several very nice effects in your Application. go through this link:

There is nothing in ASP.net that will play just the audio track to a video file.
You have to separate the audio yourself from the video, and store it as an MP3 or something, and use an html object to play it in Quicktime or something.

The article was written in 2006, so that's why XP was used as an example.
Basically, it says if you don't have a mail server, you can use the virtual SMTP server for testing and developing. Your program code is not required to use that server in order to work.
This is the core of the program, I think it's System.Mail, in which it will help you package a SMTP message, to transmit to a mail server, that will create a SMS message on a cell phone for the chosen cell phone provider. Of course you must have permission or the required credentials needed at the cell phone provider level for testing.

Dim mySmtpClient As New SmtpClient(mMailServer, mPort)
Looks like Microsoft got smart and removed the service from Windows Vista and Windows 7, anyways, you can use any mail server that you have permission to use.

I need to pass multiple data ( probably 2 Html.DropDownList's selected values ) to MVC controller action method from MVC View ( .aspx). I think it would be from somehow Html.Hidden form , but how?
I am unable to get the selected value from Html.DropDownList and pass it as Html.Hidden("paramName", MvcStringSelectedValue) to controller's action.
