i created a report which exports to excel. it exports just fine. what i want to do now is merge the consecutive cells in a column which have the same values. how do i do this? please help me.

this is code that generates the excel body:

Just record a macro doing what you want and then you can see what the code would look like and you can tweak it as necessary.

I haven't really had any experience working with macros before. So, like, I have no idea how that can help me. I'm sorry if I look like a total newbie, but that's because I am. Thanks for the idea though.

It depends on your version of Excel. Excel 2003 you use the Tools menu. You have Marco, Record Macro. Then you can go into the code and see what it generated. In 2007 and later I believe they are under the Design section of the Ribbon.

No, what you do is start recording a macro. Then do the actions you are interested in doing. Then stop recording the macro and then you can go and look at the code that was generated.

I have a form for which I want the price to resemble the current price of an object. But I cant add any C# into this form. Im building a paypal program using MVC.

where is the object item is declared? and what exception the code throw?

The object is been declared from the View when it is brought in from the model.

I can access the item.price object from outside the , it might just be a basic miss understanding.

value="50.00" I would like to be able to have value= <%item.price>% or something similar.

Change the url in the web.config file appSetting Section in website
or ApplicationSettings Section in web applications

I used my local IP to connect to the web service:

<endpoint address="http://192.168.0.102:4501/WCFService2/Service.svc"

but I am getting the following error while calling the service from the other computer.

There was no endpoint listening at http://192.168.0.102:4501/WCFService2/Service.svc that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.
