Hello Chris,
On Quick Answers section, I was providing a solution to a user I have noticed that when the page is refreshed or reloaded, there is a "Vote: button appears while loading the page and when the page is loaded, it disappears. Are you using it when someone chooses a rating you fire the click event of this vote button? I am just asking because of my curiousity. Thanks.

The easiest way to see its purpose is to view the page with and without javascript enabled. When javascript isn't enabled you see checkboxes and a vote button. When javascript is enabled you see the "star" rating control and no vote button - votes occur as soon as you click a star.

Maybe I haven't noticed the otpion and it has probably been suggested before (the search didn't return any results) but I would love to be able to find the articles I've recently viewed. There are some occasions that I forget to bookmark an article and unless it is front page or I somehow remember the name I have trouble finding it.
TL:DR: Allow profiles to keep track of recently viewed articles.

It is good to see that The Code Project is growing day by day. But unfortunately no improvement has been made to website's UI for years. I think it's time to enhance the look and feel of this website.

What type of look and feel enhancements did you have in mind? Any particular eyesores you'd like to see changed?

I think first thing is menu items that should be fixed as it floats out of screen and becomes unreachable.(1024X768)
Also the menu items/topics are scattered across pages and looks messy.

Which menu goes off the screen? Also, which item/topics do you feel are scattered.

Go to Articles->Chapters and Sections, have a look at that jumbo size menu panel which comes with scroll bars. Let me know if you need more examples

Which browser are you using? That flyout is meant to take up no more than 90% of the screen, and to fit inside the screen. Could be a bug.

I know what he's getting at here Chris. If the flyout isn't big enough for all the content, it displays scrollbars inside it.

Maintaining the current features but enhancing the look. And look means layout, color, font etc... so that it is more readable and easy to use/search as this site provides such a huge knowledge and people tend to spend so much of their time searching/reading articles.

That's easy to say, but a lot harder to achieve. The font is fine as it is - it's a standard web font. Colour - well, that's not too bad either. As to layout, I agree that it can seem a little schizophrenic at times, but it actually serves a purpose, which is to get the articles and questions/answers to the fore as easily as possible.
Rather than just come up with some vague terms, why don't you mock up how you think it should look for Chris and the team? They are reasonable people - but don't mess with the colour scheme too much as this is now part of the CP brand.

I understand it isn't an easy job but something that should be done.
I do have a good plan provided I am given a chance to work with. As far as color are considered, I didn't mean to change colors but to use them appropriately. I am sure you must have walked throught several big brand's sites who have changed their sites time to time without loosing any color or brand.
