The shift towards mobile device computing that is happening is very exciting to me. It is interesting to see not only how technology evolves but also the business associated with technology. A whole new set of leaders might arise. The established ones are quaking in the boots. The Adobe killing off mobile flash is a good example.

I am eager to develop apps for Android primarily because I own an Android phone. I don't care if Android survives or not, or for that matter this mobile platform itself, coz I'd have known something new and different, which is never a waste of time.

Now I understand how all you old farts who have lived through various paradigm shifts in computing must have felt.

I could have just said that I'd be developing within 3 months, or better not made a post at all, but I wanted to throw in my two paise.
